From the Chairman

The Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business and is the visionary organization in Cleburne. We are working to create a business climate that attracts new businesses and enhances growth and expansion opportunities for existing businesses. We are committed to creating value-added membership opportunities and benefits. Our mission statement is “To Promote Business and the Community”. Ultimately, we will create a community with an irresistible quality of life.

The City of Cleburne is our “product”. We lead the effort to continually improve and successfully market our product. In business terms, the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is a “product manager”. As the product manager, we have a dual role: Our first role is to continually improve the product. The quality of the product, or the “quality of place”, is a major determinant to the ability to succeed in growing and attracting quality jobs, investments, and visitors. Our second role is to successfully market the product. Successful marketing includes defining the targeted businesses, marketing to them, and successfully “closing” the sale with them.

The Chamber daily recognizes the fact that Cleburne will only prosper and advance to the degree we effectively respond to our businesses as well as the personal needs of our community. The process of making positive changes within a community is a never ending process and one which takes dedication from many sources. The task at hand is not an easy or overnight process. It continues to take time and many hours of service by a dedicated staff and a host of volunteers in order to succeed.

When you visit our Chamber, you will be welcomed by a friendly and courteous staff willing to assist you in any way possible.  Many successes have been accomplished during the past 80 years and the work continues today as we serve over 800 members.  Are we done yet?  No, we will always need to find new ways to enhance our opportunities and tell others of our great community.  And most importantly, we will always need your support. Cleburne is truly fortunate to have the support of a dedicated group of leaders with a commitment to our community.
